Bergisel
Bergisel has the bloody reputation being the historic place for the four battles of the Tiroleans against French and Bavarian soldiers in 1809.
The leader of the Tiroleans was a man called "Andreas Hofer". The people of Tirol praised his struggle for a free Tirol by a monument which was erected in 1893.
